🔍 Product Description

Magnetic Level Gauge provides clear, high clarity indication of liquid level. Magnetic Level Gauges are principally designed as an alternative to glass level gauges. It offers Magnetic Level Gauges in top-bottom, top and side mounted construction with two types of indicator system i.e. Capsule and Bi-colour Rollers. Magnetic Level Gauge consists of three major components: Float Chamber, Float and Indicator System.

Magnetic Liquid Level Gauge

Magnetic level indicators combine up to three functions in a single unit: display, switch and transmitter. The display, which can be read from great distances, works without energy and, due to the physical law of liquids in communicating vessels, in a forced manner.

A separate permanent magnet is integrated into each Pillar wheel of the display. The display Pillar wheels are thereby magnetically coupled and stabilised in their position. Together with the dampening field of the magnetic guide tape, a clear level display is guaranteed, even under difficult operating conditions (for example, level change, vibrations).

Operating Principle: Magnetic Level Gauge operates on the principle of magnetic field coupling to provide fluid level information. Float chamber is typically constructed with non magnetic pipe having process connections that matches to the vessel connections. Float size and weight is determined by the process fluid, pressure, temperature and the specific gravity of the process fluid. Float contains magnets to provide 360° magnetic flux field.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is the main advantage of a Magnetic Level Gauge over a glass gauge?
Magnetic level gauges eliminate the risk of glass breakage and provide high-visibility indication even from a distance, without the process fluid coming into contact with the indicator.
Can this gauge be used for corrosive liquids?
Yes, we offer anti-corrosion models using PTFE lined stainless steel, PPR, PVC, and PVDF materials specifically designed for acids and alkalis.
What is the maximum temperature the gauge can withstand?
Our high-temperature models can handle process temperatures up to 520ºC, while standard stainless steel models handle up to 450ºC.
Does the indicator require a power supply?
The local mechanical indicator works on magnetic coupling principles and does not require power. However, optional LED lighting or transmitters (4-20mA) will require a power source.
What signal outputs are available for remote monitoring?
The device supports 4~20mA DC signals, pulse outputs, and RS485 communication protocols for integration with control systems.
What is the measurement accuracy of the UHC series?
The standard measurement accuracy is ±3mm, with a general accuracy rating of 0.1%.
